Second Soundiron Demo Published

I am so excited to share my second Soundiron Demo with you. This piece was written with the intent of what I have not heard before but I am sure has been done. However, probably not written by a video game composer.

The title of the piece is called “Opening at 10” which alludes to track title based on the theme of an upcoming album to be released next year. At first, I had no idea this would be on the album or even how to write it.  I’ll share a little more of my thought process on how it came to be.

First, you may not have heard a piece being composed over the orchestra tuning to the key A. There is a lot of symbolism in this. First and foremost is about the energy you feel when you are at GDC (Game Developers Conference) and the doors are about to open. Typically, this was the case until 2019. Thousands would gather hours before 10 AM by the expo hall doors to see the latest tech and games that were on display. I wanted to share my experience in the music of what the energy I was feeling. Excitement, ambiguity and other people’s energy interacting with mine.
