Chase Bethea’s Music Featured on barSILENCE VGM Playlist Special Winter Mix 3

The new episode of barSILENCE (Video Game Music podcast) has been released. The host has put together this month’s playlist episode that is all about how video game composers capture that serene, icy sensation of winter and he has included “Taiga – Forest Theme” in the mix from the “Deity Quest” OST!

Although, the host knows its not specifically from a snowy area, he felt this track still gave him the perfect wintery vibes that he was going for with this episode and he believed the song fit perfectly into the mix!

I am honoured to be in this playlist among other great video game composers such as Motoi Sakuraba, Kenji Ito, Nobuo Uematsu, Shoji Meguro, and many others. As a child I grew up listening to a few of these composers on my Game Boy enacting the Sound Test and PlayStation through the native CD player. To be listed alongside them in a playlist like this is quite humbling.
