Dang! I’m super exicted about this. I have been waiting patiently for Emily Reese to schedule a time for me to be interviewed by her again and the episode came out today. It is more exciting because this is episode 87 and I was born in 1987. Cool relation!
The last episode I was on was episode 7. This is pure coincidence. This episode I talk about the techniques and personal experiences I pulled from to write for the visual novel game “”. Please listen to the full interview here.
Well, I managed to make it to this awesome festival again! Here is where we can see and meet like minded creatives and connect with stories and experiences. This year I got to hang out with Rami Ismail, one of the pioneers in the Indie Game Community. We sat and chilled with him as he told us about hotels that flush from the ceiling and the encounters with the Big 3 (Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft)
Gamesauce gave me the most extensive interview I’ve had in a while. In this interview I share more personal experiences that influence my career. It took me over a month to do this interview. I also talk about how the characters in the visual novel game </reality> influenced my music, my approach to starting music and my early beginnings with sound.
Ben Long, a veteran in the Game Audio, community, reached out and praised me for my professionalism and decided to do an interview about me. Ironically, when I was researching about Game Audio back in 2009, I wrote a paper for school and referenced his website in my bibliography. I had no idea whose website it belonged to because it did not specify. Anyhow, you can read the full interview here. I enjoyed this one because it felt more like a open dialogue. So, you get to learn a little bit more about my interests as well as my view on the game industry.
Wow, the sample library Sound Ideas did an interview about me! This is a great honor! In the interview I discuss some of my sound design techniques, what I did while I was in school and my dream job.
Today, I gave my first Game Audio talk by myself. I did one of these talks before about a year ago with a collection of audio friends. It was very well received.
An amazing experience occured when I got to work on some pretty cool and iconic sounds for VRC (Virtual Reality Company). I can not say what the project is specifically due to NDA purposes but it is for a VR experience that could be occurring at the end of the year
I got the privlidege to collaborate wth Kyle Johnson to design sounds for the game Starfinder developed by Paizo.
Michael Muranaka interviewed me on his awesome podcast “Headtraffic” which focuses on positive people doing great things in their field. You can check out the interview here as it was a blast to be apart of.
This was a random jam that I did not know about. Some developers that I worked with on some previous games contacted me to create some music and sound effects for the game they were making for the jam. This was the result.
