Deputy Dangle Released

Sounds are finished and Deputy Dangle is released on Steam! Go play! It’s very fun!

Here are some things that people are saying about it:

“WOW I had a lot of fun with this one. It’s like the love child of Mount Your Friends, I Am Bread and Octodad. However, they learned the lesson from the others that frustrating controls isn’t fun, while the chaos and silliness off your character flopping around is a LOT of fun.”

“It’s not easy, oh no, but it doesn’t have the horrible difficulty of those others. I’m early in still, but excited to keep going!”

“A solid game with active devs! Do you like fun? If yes, buy this game. Don’t even question buying this game! Try it out for yourself!”

“Love the artwork and overall goofyness of the game. Reminds me of The Simpson’s Road Rage game on PS2.

“My son loves all the bright colors and the ragdoll. He watches all the games I play when I mirror them to the big screen, and he is never too impressed.”

“Deputy Dangle made him laugh for 5 mins! Recommended.”

“Like Cats? Like Ghosts? Like Saints Row? Like James Bond? Like ToonTown?? This game is for you.”

“I have not bought a steam game in over 2 years at full price. But I had a feeling using my mom’s credit card would bring me 0~Good Times~0 for years. I was right. Hold on I can’t write long I’m grounded. GROUNDED TO HAVING FUN.”

So, what are you waiting for, Dangle-Out Dude!

New Project: Additional Sound Design for Deputy Dangle

Chashu Entertainment has hired me to do additional sound design for Deputy Dangle. I am very happy to collaborate with them and provide them with professional quality sounds. It should be a lot of fun! Pew Die Pie and Markiplier played the demo of this game a while back and they loved it!

Deputy Dangle is a fun and lighthearted action/adventure game where you play as one of the Sheriff’s to stop G-MA (Grandma). Mechanics and gameplay resemble similarities to OctoDad and I Am Bread. Some people call it “OctoCop”. I think of it as a “Weekend at Bernie’s” with him in a cop suit.

New Project: Reclaim Earth

I am officially signed on as the composer and sound designer for Reclaim Earth! This started out as a game jam (Low Rez) and I was contacted by Ansity Games to do a couple sounds and tracks. Ansity Games liked my music so much that they decided to move forward with the game and hire me to do more audio for the game.

Reclaim Earth is a FPS set in the near future where aliens have completely taken over and 70% of the human population has been wiped out. You play as a brave citizen to reclaim your planet using clever weaponry and interesting mode mechanics.

We plan to work on this in episodic form and are aiming for a Q4 release. In the meantime, please play the demo here ( and let us know your thoughts!

Stay tuned!

Not a Clone Demo Available Now

The Not A Clone Demo has been released on Newgrounds, GameJolt, and I am the sound designer and technical sound designer on the project.

Not A Clone is a satirical game based on the superfluous clones in the app store that plays in a Warioware fashion. If you like Warioware, you will like this game. The mini-games consist of clone of other games such as Angry Birds, Threes, Super Hexagon, Canabult, Fruit Ninja and more!

Original Sound Version published the Behind-the-Scenes Documentary of I Can’t Escape: Darkness

Original Sound Version writer, Brenna Wilkes, did an amazing write up of helping promote the Behind-the-Scenes documentary. I am always grateful for people who really take the time to watch or listen to what I have created and give feedback to the content.

“Watching the video and listening to Chase talk about how he crafted the music around how the game-play works and trying to keep it just distracting enough for the player is fascinating and gives some interesting perspective towards how good psychological thriller gaming is constructed”

Merry Christmas! Super Happy Fun Block gets a Soundtrack Geek Review

9.5 out of 10

You may or may not know that Jorn Tillness is a connoisseur and big lover of media music. Mostly known for reviewing film scores. However, lately he as taken an interest in reviewing video game scores as well. I stumbled upon an old review I guess was published on 12/02/2015. for I Can’t Escape: Darkness and although it was not
received well, the follow up to the other score Super Happy pleased the critic’s ears a little better.

Jorn is super busy so the fact he took the time to do the review is an honor.

Interview with Kidz World

I had the honor of being interviewed by Mr. Rory James Wood! He asked some awesome questions. I hope I inspired the new children who play games like the video game composers who came before me!

Enjoy the interview
